Ehrlichiosis is one of the infectious conditions which is caused by the bite of infective ticks. The condition can get serious if timely management is not provided. The condition generally prevails in the southeastern and central states of America. INTRODUCTION
Ehrlichiosis is a common term used to refer to the diseases caused by Ehrlichia bacteria. Ehrlichiosis is a bacterial tick borne infection. There are around 2.3 cases per million people worldwide all around the globe. The ticks that are the mode of transmission of the Ehrlichia are mainly found in southeastern and central parts of the United States of America. The condition can take a fatal turn if not managed timely. In Ayurveda, the condition can be correlated with jivanu janya vyadhi as well as with aagantuja vyadhi that leads to tridosha vitiation more specifically pitta and kapha dosha.
