AYURVEDA ASPECT

As per Ayurveda due to vitiation of Vata doshas Tourette syndrome occurs. Apana Vayu locates in lower regions of the body. When Apana Vayu is imbalanced, it further affects prana vayu which leads to the weak digestive system and majja dhatu (nervous system). Due to improper digestion, accumulation of ama dosha takes place which leads to harmful toxins accumulation. Along with vata doshas, this ama doshas causes blockage of channels of nerves and cause a neurological disorder. A further condition is aggravated with stress, anxiety and negative thoughts and cause symptoms of tics.
